Registration Categories

Registration Guidelines

Official criteria and fee structures for professional registration with the Licensing Authority.

Fee: Rs. 5,000

Registration of Surveyors

  • The Licensing Authority registers suitably qualified persons for Boundary demarcation, Survey work, and Preparation of plans.
  • Qualifications of surveyors are determined by the Licensing Authority via official notification.
  • A boundary demarcation certificate must be strictly issued and signed by a registered Mine Surveyor.

Misconduct & Negligence

If found guilty, a fine of Rs. 10,000 may be imposed, and registration may be cancelled after due notice and hearing.

Fee: Rs. 50,000

Geologists & Consultants

  • For qualified geologists, firms, and consultants with a minimum of 5 years experience.
  • Requires expertise in mineral survey/investigation and ability to prepare geological and progress reports.
  • Initial registration is granted for 5 years. Renewal fee is Rs. 10,000 every 5 years.

Misconduct & Negligence

Authority may accept/reject applications. Misconduct results in a fine of Rs. 10,000 and possible cancellation after hearing.
